The sixteenth edition of the Florence Korea Film Fest opens with a poetic tribute to the Korean story, full of hope for the peaceful settling of political diatribes, Outlaw King entrusted to the fourth feature by director Hwang Dong-hyuk. The Fortress comes to life in the middle of the ancestral clash between the common good and individual interest: between past and present little has changed in human nature and Hwang Dong-hyuk brings weapons and cultural belonging to the screen to remind us, just with this film.
In the middle of the seventeenth century King Injo, ruler of the Joseon dynasty, looked at the horizon outside the fortress where he is barricaded with his people, having to manage the most dramatic situation in his life. The Manchu army has been holding the siege community for weeks Downrange now, demanding its surrender to deeply humiliating conditions for the king, with the aim of taking possession of the much-disputed kingdom. The regent to defend himself and his people closes inside the fortress of Nimhan and, for the 47 days narrated by the images of the film, comes to terms with existential dilemmas that merge public and private, institutional and human aspects. Every decision by King Injo corresponds to a reaction and this leads to a war that, step by step, complicates his personal situation, which has to face doubts and feelings of guilt due to the consequences of his own choices.
Hwang Dong-hyuk, and with him the cinematographer Kim Ji-yong, opts for a representation of the cloak and the sword which, however, uses a large body of emotional resonance, which finds its first ally in its aesthetic make-up. Images with rigorous geometry dominate the screen, without being cloying, Going Places as often happens with visual choices of this type. Playing on a palette with cold tones contrasting with bright red, the images are revealed to the eye gradually, exactly as the enemy troops are outlined on the horizon slowly, taking shape and size together with the awareness of the situation by the people kept under check.Searching Term : The Fortress Full Watch The Fortress Movie Streaming Online 2017, Watch The Fortress Movie Streaming HD 1080p, Free The Fortress Movie Streaming Online, Download The Fortress Full Movie Streaming Online in HD-720p Video Quality , Where to Download The Fortress Full Movie ?, The Fortress Movie Include All Subtitles 2017.
